The DBQ that I wrote for Humanities should be included in my portfolio because I worked hard on this piece. I wrote it by looking at models and teaching myself how to write a proper DBQ essay. I learned that I work better independently and that I can teach myself how to do things without someone there to teach me verbally. I received a high grade on this DBQ and I think I deserved it because I spent a lot of time putting it together.
Plaster Sculpture
My plaster sculpture that I worked on in media class should be included in my portfolio because this is my favorite piece of art. My teacher helped me make changes and showed me how to make it look better. From reviewing this piece I learned that I expressed myself very well in the form of art. My artwork has changed since last work because it became more complex and visually pleasing. I got displayed in my school and I am very proud of this accomplishment.

My research paper, How Reliable are Standardized Test Scores? should be included in my portfolio because it shows my accomplishment in my writing class and what I’ve learned. I worked hard and used all the skills in writing class to create my final work. I feel successful that I’ve finished this to the best of my ability.
